The door has been opened
The park was full of people. They were talking and laughing, but as it started getting darker, everybody grew quiet. And the darker it became, the colder it got, and the more tears welled up in my eyes. The moon was magnificent, and for a moment, it looked like the sun hid behind it, giving it a bright border. Then, sunbeams broke through, with a flock of ducks flying in the sky, and people started clapping their hands with admiration.
With sunglasses on my nose and an open journal on my lap, I heard the sound of the guitar and felt called to follow it. I looked at what I wrote. It was 3:33 – the time I saw on my phone when I took it out to take photos of the solar eclipse. The symbol of divine presence and the creative force linked to Jupiter, the planet of abundance and good fortune.
“The door to the new Earth has been opened”, I thought while closing the journal and standing up to join the musician by the nearby tree. “You can improvise to what I play”, he said, and I heard myself singing: “We are here to shine like the Sun.” When I finished, the park looked as it does every day, with dogs taken for a walk and people jogging. The crowd disappeared, and normal life entered the new reality.
